Terms of Service

1. Service purpose

Manxn helps users discover, connect to, and control compatible fragrance devices over Bluetooth, save local schedules, and view local fragrance-oil estimates.

The current app is free and does not require an account, subscription, in-app purchase, or cloud device binding.

2. Compatible devices and Bluetooth

App functions depend on a compatible fragrance device, Bluetooth availability, system permission, distance, radio conditions, device firmware, and the device being powered on.

A command shown as sent by the app is not a guarantee that the hardware completed it. Confirm important settings on the device and in the surrounding environment.

3. Safe and acceptable use

• Follow the fragrance device manufacturer's operating, placement, ventilation, maintenance, and oil-handling instructions.
• Do not use the app or device for an unlawful purpose, to interfere with other devices, or in any safety-critical system.
• Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the app, website, or related services except where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. Local settings and estimates

Schedules, names, selected-device information, optional device images, and oil parameters are stored locally in the current app. Removing the app or clearing app data may delete them.

Oil-use and remaining-oil values are estimates based on local settings. They are not measurements and should not replace physical inspection or maintenance.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the app and website handle information. The current mobile release has no configured diagnostics or feedback-upload endpoint.

If a later release changes data handling, we will update the Privacy Policy and applicable app-store disclosures before enabling that change.

6. Updates and availability

We may update the app to improve compatibility, security, reliability, or legal compliance. Some updates may change or discontinue a feature.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website, downloads, Bluetooth compatibility with every device, or support for every operating-system version.

7. Intellectual property

The Manxn name, app, website, visual assets, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the services as intended.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided as available without warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Manxn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from Bluetooth interruption, incompatible hardware, inaccurate local estimates, deleted local settings, or misuse of a fragrance device.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the services or legal requirements change. The page will show the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
